Monthly Archives: January 2013

Is it January already?

Well, as they say time flies when you’re having fun.

So: since I last posted I’m down to 207 pounds (28 pounds lost since last April),

I’ve ridden almost 2500 miles since last June,

Sharks hockey has been gone (lockout) but is now back (limited 24 game season),

I’m in the process of getting bike #N+1 (its a biker thing) – I’ve put a deposit down with John Caletti (Caletti Cycles) – a builder of custom steel framed bicycles for my dream bike.

I’ve signed up for one Century ride (the Davis LiveStrong Challenge) and I’m in the process of signing up for another (the Sea Otter Classic Gran Fondo, in April in the Monterrey area).

I’ve learned a *lot* about riding and biking fitness. In the coming weeks I’ll try to post some details here.
